Women in Mining

Women’s Day has come and gone, but at UMS we acknowledge our female employees every day of the year. The women of UMS are integral to our vision of creating a company that is diverse, dynamic and a great place to work at.

Based in the risk department at our head office, Assurance Manager, Louisa Swart, heads up our internal assurance audit programme. In this role, Louisa provides support on projects and bids to deliver product assurance documentation, and provides management with the assurance that:

• UMS’s SHEQ standards are effective, maintained and continually improved
• Products and/or services meet the highest standards, and that our customers are satisfied
• UMS maintains ISO quality, safety, and environmental certifications.
